AQL (AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) sampling is a method widely used to define the size of sample from a production batch. Based on customer’s requirements and needs, Calico usually refers ANSI 1.4 sampling on the production inspection services. If customer does not have special requirement on AQL sampling level, general AQL sampling level will be applied (Level II) and acceptable level will be: critical (not allowed), major (2.5), minor (4.0)
Defects are those that render the product unsafe or hazardous for the end user or that contravenes mandatory regulations.
Defects can result in the product's failure, reducing its marketability, usability or scalability.
Defects do not affect the product's marketability or usability, but represent workmanship defects that make the product fall short of defined quality standards.
